My interior design style is best described as modern traditional. I love clean lines, symmetry and a sense of order, but always with a softness that makes a space feel warm and welcoming. Panelling is a bit of a favourite of mine and I really enjoy creating rooms that feel balanced and thoughtfully put together.
I truly believe that everything should have its place, but comfort is just as important. I use soft furnishings, textured layers and beautiful colour palettes to create spaces that feel both elegant and lived-in. You’ll also find a plant (or several!) in just about every room I design — I think they really bring a space to life.
My own colour palette leans towards neutrals — gentle whites, taupes, blush pinks, and natural greens — with a love for matte finishes that give a calm, understated look. I’m drawn to oak, especially in ceiling beams and fireplace mantels. Whilst I tend to favour texture over pattern, I do like a floral or stripe in the right place!
